Sheep Producers Australia is pleased to announce the election of two highly experienced industry leaders to its Board at today’s Annual General Meeting.
Corrie Goodwin brings more than two decades of experience in governance, agribusiness and regulatory reform. She has served as Chief Executive Officer of Dairy Food Safety Victoria, Deputy Chair of the Game Management Authority- where she also chairs the Risk and Audit Committee - and was Head of Responsible Dairy at Fonterra Australia.
Her extensive industry leadership includes directorship of the Australian Dairy Industry Council (ADIC), Vice President of the Australian Dairy Products Federation, and chairing the ADIC Water Taskforce, where she played a key role in shaping national policy on sustainability, biosecurity and market access. Raised on a dairy farm in north-east Victoria, she combines practical agricultural grounding with a strong record of strategic leadership across senior executive and board roles.
Jenny Bradley, who runs a mixed farming business in the central west of New South Wales with her husband and son, has also been elected to the Sheep Producers Australia Board. She manages the commercial and stud sheep enterprises within the business, with the stud focused on performance recording and long-term participation in Sheep Genetics.
Jenny and her family are committed to best-practice management and regularly participate in industry research and development projects using both stud and commercial sheep. For more than two decades, she has contributed to the development and refinement of agricultural policy at regional, state and national levels through a wide range of committees, boards and advisory roles across the Australian agricultural industries and the sheepmeat supply chain. She is also a past recipient of the 2004 Rural Women’s Award.
Sheep Producers Australia Chair Bindi Murray welcomed the election of the two new Board members and thanked Kerry Harris and Jamie Heinrich who retired from the Board.
“I would like to sincerely thank Kerry Harris and Jamie Heinrich for their dedicated service to the Board. Their contributions have helped guide SPA through significant industry developments, and we are grateful for their commitment. Corrie and Jenny join us at a pivotal time, and I am confident their leadership will build on this strong foundation.
“I also want to thank the Sheep Producers Australia Board for their skilled contributions and ongoing support and acknowledge the dedicated team at Sheep Producers Australia for their professionalism, commitment and hard work throughout the year to ensure producers continue to have a strong national voice.”
All AGM resolutions were passed.
