Bonnie is the Chief Executive Officer of Sheep Producers Australia. After working in roles in animal health and biosecurity in the private and not-for-profit sectors, Bonnie joined the Sheep Producers Australia team in 2018 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2022.
Bonnie has extensive networks across regional Australia and has proven experience establishing productive relationships with stakeholders, industry partners and government officials.
Her collaborative approach, combined with her comprehensive understanding of the industry, positions Bonnie as a key figure in shaping the future of the sheepmeat sector and the broader agricultural landscape in Australia.​

John has extensive experience within agriculture and will be known to many members. John has held previous roles in farm management, policy analysis and advocacy in the private sector, Australian Government Cattle Council of Australia, Sheepmeat Council and Australian Pork Ltd. He has considerable experience in the development of strategic planning and change management. John has a Master of Environmental Management and Associate Diploma of Farm Management.

Johann is a veterinarian with a specialised interest in internal and external parasites of livestock. He spent much of his career working in the global pharmaceutical industry in South Africa, Germany and Australia, in the roles of product development and technical support.
For the last 15 years before joining SPA, Johann managed investments in animal health, welfare and biosecurity research by two rural R&D corporations – Australian Wool Innovation, and Meat & Livestock Australia.

Sue Wharekawa is Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Sheep Producers Australia, bringing expertise in finance, governance and organisational leadership. With a career across national sport and not-for-profit bodies, she strengthens systems, ensures compliance and supports values-driven performance.
As CFO for several National Sporting Organisations she oversaw finance, governance, integrity, HR and risk, guiding structural and cultural reform towards sustainability. A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, she has completed the AICD Company Secretary Course and Sport Australia’s Future Female Leaders program, and assesses grants for Women Leaders in Sport. Sue holds Commerce and Biomedical Science degrees.

Adrienne is a skilled agricultural policy advisor with a strong understanding of the industry, shaped by her upbringing on a family farm in southern NSW, and strengthened through her 15+ years’ experience working across the government, industry and research sectors.

Adrienne has previously held senior policy roles at the National Farmers’ Federation and the federal agriculture department, working across a wide range of complex policy issues.
Adrienne holds a PhD in Soil Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, which provide the strong foundation in critical and analytical thinking that informs her work.

Growing up in Canberra, Corinne’s passion for agriculture was ignited through her family's mixed enterprise farms in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, where she developed a strong interest in the livestock sector.
Corinne has extensive experience advocating for Australian agriculture through her roles with the National Farmers’ Federation (10 years) and Cattle Council of Australia (6 years) across a wide range of policy areas with particular interest and expertise in Trade Policy. Corinne has work on many issues of national significance such as: Trade, Natural Resource Management, Climate Change, Farm Business development, Rural Affairs, Livestock integrity systems, Drought policy, Livestock traceability and Telecommunications.​​

Based in Woodanilling, WA, Bindi runs 6,500 Merino ewes for wool and 2,000 Merino ewes to terminal sires, supplying local processors and the live-export trade while actively building supply-chain relationships. A Bachelor of Animal Science graduate, she centred her Honours on the link between high wool yields and meat quality, later serving as a research officer for breech-strike trials and regularly hosting producer trials and technical updates.

Bindi is a director of the WA Meat Industry Authority and a committed advocate, with past roles in policy for the Pastoralists and Graziers Association and national traceability initiatives. She has strengthened her business acumen through small-business studies, SCA Governance in Action, the AICD Company Directors Course and Rabobank’s Executive Leaders program.

With a first-class Honours degree in Agribusiness Marketing and a Master of Business Administration, Elizabeth has held various management positions at the CBH Group and in other Western Australian agribusinesses.
In 2008, Elizabeth completed an ARC-Linkage PhD studentship to study for the WA wool industry. She then worked at Newcastle University (UK) where she was the Degree Programme Director of the BSc Agribusiness Management degree and published on food marketing, supply chain management and maritime economics. In 2014, Elizabeth moved to the University of London’s Royal Veterinary College where she became a Senior Lecturer in Business Management and published on agribusiness and food supply chains. She was the Course Director for the College’s Professional Doctorate degrees in agribusiness and veterinary practice.
Elizabeth is now a Senior Lecturer within Curtin Business School where her teaching relates to supply chain management, procurement and distribution and she continues to investigate agri-food systems.

She has had an extensive executive career as a Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer in member based organisations.

Kerry is an experienced, independent non-executive director with expertise in finance, audit, risk and compliance. She has a strong focus on corporate governance including financial and non-financial external reporting to include strategy and risk management, ESG and aligning performance management with strategy. Currently Kerry chairs Women Onside, a member and advocacy organisation, is a non executive director with Volunteering Australia and chairs the Finance and Audit Committee, and is on the Veterinary Registration Board of Victoria, CPA Australia Nominations Committee and is a CPA Australia Victorian Divisional Councillor.
