Thanks David Slade

Sheep Producers Australia thanks Western Australian sheep producer David Slade for his longstanding contribution to the SPA Policy Council.

David attended his final Policy Council meeting this month, marking the end of five years of service since joining as an inaugural member in 2021.

A longstanding supporter of the formation of the Policy Council, David has played an important role in ensuring the views and experiences of Western Australian sheep producers are represented in national policy discussions.

Vice President of WAFarmers Livestock Section, David and his family operate Glenridge Park, a 6000-hectare cropping, sheep and cattle property in south-west Western Australia.

Throughout his time on Policy Council, David has brought this practical producer perspective to the table, alongside a strong commitment to agriculture and encouraging the next generation into the industry.
